My first course of action was to pick a type of genre that best expresses my artistic ability, so I chose house music. I want to first think of all the songs I listen to and take my knowledge of how they work and flow directly into my project. I will create an elaborate house song with all the good things you find in today's house. Take the melody, beat, random noises and mix them all together to make my ideal song of harcore music. But wait I like more than one genre so why not mix the two with a rap slower start into a full on disco. This will be tricky with the transitions but I think with perseverance and some experimenting I can conquer the tricky transitions I've been struggling so much with. I have a plan to separate songs then merge them with a 30 second ish window. Make a transition that glides like a skater on the freshly zambonied ice. After making sure the beats match in a subtle way of following one rhythm to another keeping the tempo. This makes it smooth and enjoyable to bump to. I am very excited to finish this project. It has been a blast of a challenge so far but I have just become ready to incorporate little bits of rock here and there to give it spice and jump to it. The jump gives you the energy to go hard anywhere and everywhere, anyway that's about all wish me luck :).
