My final artwork was a mix of sounds from all the various music genres I love to listen to. I really enjoy rap, house, and older metal because they have a great sound and culture. The genres are so different but still molds into one another. It's so great when you combine them and they still work so great together. The clips from the class bank were fun to incorporate into my work, because they gave it that what the heck. Like muted muffled words over a beat that I have always enjoyed. With all those tools to change the sounds of voices and tones I had a blast making this project as much of me as I could, keeping it original and what flows in your mind. I learned how to make beats and that really got me invested and striving for something not just so the teacher thinks is good enough but something I believe is unique to me. Something that I would listen to at the gym, out and about. I didn't intend to add rock but it fit so well I just had to throw in those beautiful beats. I was communicating a slow starting rap song as it progressively got housed into more intense rap , and rock beats. But then came the hardest house! As I started mixing more house and rock I thought I was at the gym in the middle of a workout. As it vigorously flowed and changed with inputs and sound effects, it bloomed into a wild cool beat.
